CAE appeals for peace in Tuensang

Concerned Angami Elders (CAE), while expressing regret for its inability to come as a group to listen to understand the deteriorating situation faced by the Yimchunger and Chang brethren, said it was deeply disturbed and distressed by the news of violence and loss of lives that have resulted from the ongoing conflict in Tuensang district.
While acknowledging its inability to extend any meaningful help due to limitations, it had made an earnest appeal to both Naga tribes to rise to the extremely urgent demands of the crisis and prevent the situation from going out of control.  It has also prayed to all Nagas for God’s merciful will to prevail which would be best for all concerned.
