Kohima Excise seizes liquor

Kohima district Excise personnel, during its regular duty, arrested one Vinoka Sema on February 10 around 10:30 a.m. on National Highway 61 Tsiesema road and seized 168 bottles of can beer and 84 bottles of MC rum 750 ml from his possession. The duty party was led by Inspector of Excise Neiziezolie along with constables Teliya, Zaselatuo, Lhoukuolie, Besenyi and Vekuto. The accused person has been booked and penalized for violation of NLTP Act ‘89 and the seized articles deposited in the Malkhana of the Superintendent of Excise Office, Kohima.
