NAAC peer team visits Unity College

Unity College Dimapur, upon completion of its 7th year, has achieved another significant milestone in ushering in quality accreditation and validation with the visit of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) peer team to the college.
NAAC Bengaluru constituted Peer Team comprising of Dr. Smritikumar Sarkar, Vice Chancellor, University of Burdwan, Rajbati, West Bengal; Prof. Sharwan K Sharma, Professor, Deptt Of English, Gurukul University, Uttarakhand; and Dr. Sr. Alphonsa Vattoly, Principal, St. Francis College for Women, Andhra Pradesh; visited Unity College, Dimapur, from February 9-11.
Physical verification of the college campus and documentary evidences, interaction with the faculty, staff and students of Unity College, parents and alumni, Nagaland University, Higher Education and government officials, community elders were conducted by the peer team during the visit.
Another highlight of the Peer Team visit was ‘Embracing Diversity’- a cultural programme, presented by the students, which showcased the vibrancy and talent of Unity College fraternity.
On February 11, Exit Meeting was held where the Peer Team members handed over the confidential report to Principal Dr. SK Chhabra in the presence of the college Managing Board members, faculty, staff and students of Unity College.
