The Dimapur District Planning & Development Board meeting was held at the D.C’s Conference hall on 5th February 2015 which was chaired by the Vice Chairman, DP & DB and Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Wezope Kenye.
At the outset, the D.C extended his appreciation for the support and contribution extended by various departments for the success of the Republic Day celebration at Dimapur.
Reviewing the last meeting minutes, the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (LM&CP) Dimapur gave its departmental activities report which was followed by an interaction.
The D.C Dimapur, Wezope Kenye suggested that the Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection department to check and verify the weighing machine of the butchers regularly so that the consumer are not cheated of their purchase.
He also assured to assist and help the department in every possible way for the benefit of the consumer at large. The Medical Superintendent Dimapur also requested the department to check the Hospitals to see that right amount is supplied to enable better services to the patients in the Hospitals of Dimapur. The Department of D.R.D.A and Youth Resources & Sports were directed to give its departmental presentation in the next meeting.
