No donation within Purana Bazaar village

Purana Bazaar Village Council and business community of Purana Bazaar have resolved that the business community within Purana Bazaar Village jurisdiction would not give any kind of donation/ tax to any organization whatsoever without the consent or knowledge of the village council and that every member of the business community should adhere to the resolution.
The resolution to this effect was taken during a coordination meeting between Purana Bazaar Village Council and business community of Purana Bazaar in the village council hall on February 4.
During the meeting, the village council also strongly reiterated its decision not allow sale of liquor inside the jurisdiction of the village. The council has warned of stern action against those detected to be selling liquor.
The business community of the village has assured the village council to cooperate and support the effort of the council for maintaining cleanliness in the commercial areas of the village.
Meanwhile, the village council has expressed appreciation to DC Dimapur for personally visiting and inspecting the distribution of BPL rice by village council at Purana Bazaar.
The council said it was the first time a Deputy Commissioner had visited an occasion of public distribution.
