Taking serious note of the present political crisis in the state, a consultative meeting under the aegis of Naga Hoho (NH) was held in Kohima February 2.
The meeting was attended by various civil societies– Naga Students’ Federation, Naga Mothers’ Association, and Nagaland GB Federation.
Informing this in a press release, Naga Hoho communication cell said after thorough deliberation during the meeting, the members present highlighted “the pleas of the common people wherein the entire mass has been affected” and adopted a 3-point resolution:
The organizations unanimously agreed to appeal and seek the intervention of the Governor of Nagaland to resolve the present political crisis of the state at the earliest.
The Naga civil societies make a fervent appeal to both the Dr. Shürhozelie and Noke led Naga People’s Front (NPF) groups to reconcile and resume their works for which, primarily the electorates have send them to the assembly.
The Naga people witnessing such a political scenario at this juncture is uncalled for, and any unwanted eventuality arising out of this crisis, the Naga people will make both the parties held responsible.
