As part of the annual monitoring and evaluation programme of central schemes, the 3rd Party M&E team from NU SASRD visited ATMA-Phek from January 27 to 29.
The team was led by ATMA-Phek DPDs Keviu Shuya and Tiajungla Longchar and accompanied by Dr. N. Patra, assistant professor, department of agricultural extension, and Dr. S. Banik, assistant professor, department of plant pathology. They have inspected activities for the year 2013-14.
Under the physical achievement assessment, farm schools and SHGs were visited. The inspection covered Kiwi farm schools at Pfutsero, bee farm school at Suthazu village, banana farm school at Yoruba village and garlic farm school at Porba village.
Women SHGs from three RD also showcased their products.
ATMA-Phek beneficiaries including farmers’ friends, women SHGs, farm school teacher, BTT convener and progressive farmers participated in the programme.
M&E team were satisfied with the activities undertaken during 2013-14 by ATMA-Phek in the district.
