Power supply affected in Wokha areas

Power supply to Tseminyu section, Nyro range, Longsa village, Pongitong village, Totsu, Merayan, Yanthung and Tsungza village has been affected following breakdown in 33 KV Tseminyu feeder.
Informing this, Wokha Electrical Division (WED) said the breakdown in 33KV Tsenminyu feeder was caused by cutting of trees by the public on January 30 afternoon which had destroyed the transmission poles and conductors and accessories.
The Division informed the affected villages that a week of time would be required to restore the damaged since the materials are not readily available in the store. All consumers are requested to bear the inconvenience.
