Vilito wins Ketsovole Kire award

GNM 2014 Batch graduation cum 13th Lt. Ketsovole Kire award function was held at School of Nursing in Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung, on January 29.
Since 2002, Ketsovole Kiri Award has been awarded to GNM student in Nagaland in recognition of academic excellence. The award is the only award of its kind given for nursing students in Nagaland.
The recipient of this year’s award was Vilito S Awomi, daughter of Shetovi Awomi of Ahoto village under Dimapur district, and student of the School of Nursing, IMDH, Mokokchung.
The winner received a cash award of Rs 10,000 along with a citation in recognition of her meritorious achievement by securing the top position from among the three GNM schools of nursing in Nagaland and is the 6th recipient of the award from the School of Nursing, IMDH Mokokchung.
Vilito in her acceptance speech said that striving for the award is what motivated her to excel in her studies.
Dignitaries present at the function were Dr. SS Akaba Longchar, CMO; Dr. Limasungbam MS IMDH; Dr. Limatola, DIO; Mrs. Tsuktimenla, retired Deputy Director Nursing; Bendang Jamir, Associate Pastor MTBA; and other senior staff, tutors, students and family members.
