Admission for RIMC 2016 batch

The entrance examination for admission to Class VIII in the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for January 2016 term would be conducted on June 1 and 2.
Informing this, Director of School Education, Zaveyi Nyekha, said only boys are eligible to apply for admission to RIMC, Dehradun. Candidate’s appearing for the above Test should not be less than 11 ½ years but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on January 1, 2016.  Candidates should either be studying in Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC.
The written part of the examination would consist of three papers namely English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The oral interview would be held for only those candidates who qualify in the written exam and the date for interview would be intimated to them by early September 2015.
Application form and prospectus and old question papers could be obtained by registered post/ speed post by sending a written request with an account payee Bank Demand Draft of Rs 430 (for registered post) or Rs 480 (for speed post) for General Candidates and Rs 385 (for registered post) or Rs 405 (for speed post) for ST/SC candidates along with cast certificates. The Demand Draft should be made in favour of The Commandant, RIMC Dehradun, Drawee Branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun, (Bank Code – 01576) Uttarakhand.
Application forms along with three Passport size photographs should reach the Directorate of School Education on or before March 31, 2015. Certificate of age (in duplicate) from the school record or Municipal Board should be submitted.
