Nagaland Pensioners’ Association (NPA) has informed all the pensioners and family pensioners to renew their ID card ‘D’ for the year 2015 at an early date to avoid hardship. In a press release NPA general secretary, Lecho Krocha informed that the validity of the card would be for a period of one year and to be renewed for each subsequent year.
Further, it has informed all the new pensioners/family pensioners to obtain their ID Card- ‘D’ from their respective presidents, district/sub-unit pensioners’ association.
As per the prescribed procedure, the possession of ID Card- ‘D’ for drawing of pension would be compulsory, NPA added.
All the treasury officers/banks have also been asked to ensure that the pensioners/family pensioners duly possess renewed I.D Card- ‘D’ for the purpose of release of pension.
