Govt designates AA, PIO, APIO

In pursuance of Section 5 (1) and (2) of the Right to Information Act 2005, the State government has designated officers as Appellate Authority, Public Information Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer for performing functions under the said Act in respect of the Chief Secretary’s Office and Cabinet Cell. According to the notification, State Chief Secretary CJ Ponraj has been designated as Appellate Authority, while Junior Section Officer (Cabinet Cell) has been designated as Public Information Officer (PIO), and Secretariat Assistant (Cabinet Cell) has been designated as Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO).
