Chathe bridge inaugurated

Hanging bridge over Chathe river at New Chumukedima village was inaugurated on January 27 by Block Development Officer of Rural Development, Medziphema, Chitsoru Vasa.
Speaking as a chief guest at inaugural program, Vasa explained the need of bridge which was the only passage from one side to the other during monsoon season. He also called upon the inhabitants of the area to be responsible and maintain the bridge for the welfare of the residents in the area.Brief report on constructional work was presented by Construction Committee Chairman, Kekhriezhalie Kera.
