Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), ICAR, has organised a farmer scientists interaction programme on January 27 at Yongphang village in Longleng sponsored by ATMA, Longleng.
During the programme, farmers interacted with the different Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) including (Animal science) Dr. Lily Ngullie; (Plant breeding) Dr. Patu K Zeliang; (Plant protection) E Lireni Kikon; and programme assistant (Home science) of KVK Thungchano S Ezung. The subject matter specialists covered topics on agri and allied sector.
Altogether 23 farmers, KVK, ATMA officials attended the programme.
It may be noted that the programme was conducted to know the problems faced by the farmers in carrying out their activities related to agriculture, livestock and poultry and to suggest remedial measures.
