PHED to organise workshop

A one day workshop on ground water prospects map of Nagaland under
Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission Project would be held at the conference hall of Public Health Engineering Department, Kohima, on January 30 from 10:30 am.
State Chief Secretary, CJ Ponraj, would grace the function as the chief guest, while the Secretary of PHED, Anenla S Lonchari, would chair the inaugural programme and the Secretary of Science & Technology, CM Tsanglao, would deliver the welcome address.
SSO & Member Secretary, Nagaland Science & Technology Council, Department of Science & Technology, Dr. Zavei Hiese, would give the background of the project and the keynote address would be delivered by Advisor, Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Government of India, New Delhi, Shanmugan Sundaram.  Highlights of the inaugural programme also included speech by Chief Engineer, PHED, Er. Kevisekho Kruse, and the vote of thanks by Director of WSSO, PHED, Er. K.G Sumi.
The workshop is being organised by Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Nagaland, and Nagaland Science & Technology Council, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland.
