ENPO lauds peace committee

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has lauded the Peace Committee headed by Yonglong Konyak as convenor, Tuensang district administration and police, Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) team, Eastern Nagaland National Workers Union (ENNWU) – NSCN(IM), six federating tribal units and ENPO frontal organisations for their sincere and timely intervention to bring the Tuensang tense situation under control ushering peaceful atmosphere in the area.
ENPO president Chingmak Chang and the joint secretary Manlang Phom hopeed that all the conflicting groups would strictly adhere to the recommendations and directives of the ‘Longkhim Peace Agreement’ of January 21 and seek for peaceful co-existence.
