Seminar held on church media

Indian Christian Media Association (ICMA) and the Education & Communications Department of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) along with Sinai Ministry, Dimapur, as its local event partner, have jointly organized a seminar on church and Christian media at the Dimapur Ao Baptist Church on January 23 and 24.
The resource persons were Bryan Bailey, Director of Media and Production at the First Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas; Johann Solomon, from Christian Vision Global, Bangalore; Wabang Moa, Director of Highland Dawn Media; and Bob Swaggerty, founder of Nagalandchristianradio.com and chennaichristianradio.com as well as member of Highland Dawn Media.
Bryan Bailey spoke on church media covering tools and techniques, lighting and audio for worship, broadcasting the word, and working with volunteers for media. Johann Solomon, of CV Global, Bangalore, spoke on social media- How to build community in the new digital age covering missiological implications of building community online; social media for your church – how to use social media to communicate effectively as a tool to build church community.
Bob Swaggerty spoke on websites for churches, audio and video streaming, while Wabang Moa, coordinator of Indian Christian Media Association (ICMA) for north east India, spoke on video and TV production and electronic media. Participants from different parts of Nagaland and Northeast India including Guwahati and Shillong have attended the seminar.
