On the occasion of 66th Republic Day, GOC 3 Corps, Lt. Gen. Bipen Rawat has conveyed greetings and best wishes to all ranks of the army, affiliated personnel of the IAF, Ex-servicemen, their families and people of the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura.
In his greetings, GOC urges all to resolve to uphold and promote the secular, socialist and democratic values enshrined in the Constitution of India and work towards making our country stronger and prosperous.
“May this resolve usher in a new era of peace, prosperity and happiness in the region,” GOC said while he also appreciated and thank the people of northeastern states for their whole hearted cooperation in all spheres. He has assured that the army would continue to support the people in maintaining peace and harmony. On the auspicious day, GOC has paid homage to the martyrs, who laid their lives for our today.
