A 3-day long “Revival hour/ Crusade” got underway here in Aghunato village under the aegis of the Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK), Nito Mount, Zunheboto, on the theme “Let the righteous faith overflow in our land,” Friday after a grand opening ceremony.
Rev. S Yevito Sumi, executive secretary SBAK-NM, who is also the crusade speaker/ resource person along with Imtijungla Ao dedicated the inaugural function and also administered the introduction, presentation and sanctification.
At least 51 counselors and 110 stewards/ volunteers have been assigned for the spiritual and physical assistance for more than 5000 delegates during the 3-daylong programme which would conclude on January 18.
The inaugural programme was marked by various colorful display and special items such as opening act from two Sunday School groups (juniors and seniors) of Aghunato Village Baptist Church (AVBC); welcome song by the host village women folks; special song by “Gospel Hunter” males group; and welcome note by Lashito Yeptho, GB Aghunato village.
The programme was chaired by the crusade chairpersons/ leaders Rev Kughato Chophi, Chaplain SBAK-NM, and Kuholi Chishi, women secretary SBAK, Nito Mount.
