NSCN (I-M) reacts to Governor, CFMG chairman remark

NSCN/GPRN (Isak-Muivah) through its MIP has reacted to the statements made by Governor of Nagaland P.B.Acharya and chairman of the CFMG Lt.Gen(Retd)N.K.Singh made at the seminar organised by the Assam Rifles Kohima.
Reacting to the Governor’s speech MIP expressed regret that the Governor was “less informed about the twists and turns of events in the struggle for Nagas right to self-determination.   MIP also said NSCN never discouraged development in any Naga areas, “unless it is related to  unfair exploration and exploitation of our natural resources”
On the speech of CFMG chairman Lt.Gen(Retd)N.K.Singh, MIP said his one-sided opinion “is not new to Nagas anymore” as he seemed more interested “in taxation than monitoring cease fire”. MIP said Singh ought to “remain loyal to what assigned to him and not meddle in other subjects which he is not responsible”.
