20 arrested with IMFL in Dimapur

Dimapur police has conducted surprise raids in suspected liquor joints in and around Dimapur on January 21 and arrested 20 people along with assorted IMFL of different brands.
East Police personnel has arrested six persons namely Roshan Singh (20), son of Saju Singh of Dustan Restaurant, Half Nagarjan; GL Sharma (30), son of Bali Ram of Phatipura Sikar village from Deluxe Point; Ram Prasad (30), son of Lt. Ram Shivak Sitamari from Bata Charali; Rajib Boro (23), son of Lt. Timbi Boro of Morigoan village from Railway Station; Chanjing Marak (26), son of Phislimitso of Rashu village (Megalaya) from Bata Charali; and Dhanjay Chaudri (19), son of Kabujan of Jahenjirpur village (Bihar) from Eros Lane.
Police recovered 72 bottles of MC Rum, 15 bottles of MC whisky, 135 bottles of beer and 65 nos of can beer from their possession.
Sub- Urban Police personnel arrested Uttam Chakraboty (45), of Lt. Anil Chakraboty from West Yard Colony; Vishal Das (20), son of Vikas Das from Army Supply Road; Rajesh (22), son of Joginder Singh from Signal Bosti; and
Babu Singh (30), son of Manthong Singh from Signal Bosti.
Police recovered 12 bottles of Old Monk (Rum), 8 bottles of MC Rum, 10 bottles of MC whisky, and 31 bottles of beer.
West police personnel arrested Vikas Rajbongshi (24), Deepak Lama (24), Robin (26), Papu Singh (24) and Nikato Sema (22). Police recovered 20 bottles of MC Rum, 8 bottles Old Monk (Rum), 78 quarter bottles MC Rum, 7 bottles of whisky, 56 quarter bottles (OC Blue, Honey Bee, Castle Hill, Bagpipper), 31 quarter bottles vodka, 16 bottles gin, 200 bottles beer.
GPR police personnel arrested Kughavi Yeptho, son of Toshevi Yeptho and resident of 5th Mile, Dimapur; Isato, son of Sukhashe and resident of 3rd Mile, Dimapur; Md. Hussain, son of Md. Abdul and resident of 7th Mile, Dimapur; Hussain, son Abdul and resident of Thilixu village; and Mona, son of Laxmi Choudhary and resident of Purana Bazar. Police recovered 84 quarter bottles of rum, 14 bottles of rum, 46 bottles of whisky, 39 quarter bottles of whisky, 10 bottles of breezer, 2 bottles of vodka, 5 bottles gin, 12 bottles beer.
Officers-in-charge of concerned PS have registered a NON-FIR Pt-III C/No.84/14 U/S 290 IPC R/W 44 NLTP Act and forwarded the accused to the court.
