Reacting to CMO media cell’s statement that parliamentary secretary P. Paiwang had assured to stand by whatever decision arrived at during the DAN meeting January 20, Nagaland BJP unit spokespersons termed the statement “misleading”
In a clarification, BJP unit spokespersons said Paiwang in his leave application merely cited “his inability to attend the said meeting due to ill health and not as stated. They said the BJP unit was “not impressed by the misquoting of his letter for cheap publicity” and urged the public not to be carried away. “No political party should try to belittle the other”, they added.
