In collaboration with the Lampong Sheanghah Students Union, the 33 Assam Rifles organized a free medical camp at Lampong Sheanghah village in Mon district on January 19.
Wangno Konyak, village GB, has thanked the Assam Rifles for helping people who could not afford to go to the hospital through free medical check-up and medicines.
A total of 140 patients were benefitted from the medical camp and they also received free medicines. Some of the ailments addressed by the Medical Officer were headaches, backaches, cough and other common ailment.
