NPF (Noke)responds to Dr. Shüro’s ‘threat’

Noke-led NPF party Wednesday issued a “clarification” in the wake of what it described as “ex-NPF party president” Dr Shürhozelie continuing the tirade of issuing “threats and intimidations against honourable members”.
In a press release, press & media cell stated that Dr. Shürhozelie exposed his “autocratic mind” by suspending nine MLAs despite Kaito’s group enjoying clear majority. It said this compelled the party workers and legislatures to elect a new party president Noke Wangnao.
Accordingly, it said the new president in the best interest of the party immediately revoked all suspension orders issued earlier by “ex-NPF party president” to nine members.
The cell stated that its president also appointed Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu as new party chief whip “unanimously endorsed by the party legislature.” It added that Azo has been performing his duties and function as per the laid down procedure of the party constitution and not as Dr. Shürhozelie.
Stating that any appointment made by ex-NPF president was illegal and held no legal sanction, press and media cell said as such it would be treated as null and void.
It stated that he should instead accept his defeat and removal gracefully and pave way for the new president to take charge of office
