ARTC&S provides furniture to THOH

Under the Military Civic Action Programme, Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC & S) has provided furniture worth approximately Rs 30,000 to Touch of Hope Orphanage Home (THOH) in Shokhuvi village.
The furniture was handed over to the Orphanage by Commandant ARTC&S, Brigadier K Narayanan. The managing committee of the orphanage has, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the ARTC&S. 
The coordinator of THOH had submitted an application to ARTC&S on July 1, 2014, seeking assistance from Assam Rifles for provision of furniture to the orphanage. The Orphanage has around 45 children from different parts of the North Eastern States like Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
