DC Kma seeks ideas from DPDB members

As the administration set to take up new challenges with the dawn of a new year, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, and the vice chairman of Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), W Honje Konyak, has sought constructive ideas from the members for developmental activities.
Addressing the first DPDB meeting of the year on January 15 in the DPDB Hall, Kohima, the DC has urged the members to be committed in their works and come up with new ideas for further development in the district. While reminding the members that many developmental activities were achieved in the last year DPDB 2014, the DC appealed the members to be committed in their works and come up with new ideas for new achievements.
He has, however, noted with regret over poor attendance of the members in DPDB meeting which was “very discouraging” and urged the members to be more regular in the attendance and also to be interactive in the meeting.
The DC also informed the members to issues a circular to their concerned staff on important function and directed them to be available in the stations and also attend the forthcoming Indian Republic day on January 26.
ADC Planning & Member Secretary DPDB, Kohima, Ketoho Luho, has highlighted about the last year inter – village exposure program and also informed that the Board has planned to cover another ten villages by six team led by Engineers which was included in the DPDB action calendar. He said some amount has been enhanced with an earmarked of Rs one lakh for each team for their expenditure. He said the best teams would be awarded prize money of Rs 25 thousand each in the category of urban and rural teams.
