Cultural and literary contest mark VKRSU conference

The four-day general conference of VK Range Students’ Union (VKRSU) culminated on January 11 which was marked with bonfire, talent exhibition, prize distribution and couple show at VK Town with Akuluto – VK SDO, Kikumsangla Jamir, as the guest of honor.
The bonfire was lit by the president VKRSU, Himahito Labo, and began with a special talent presentation by all the sub units under the VKRSU. The most important highlight of the evening was the “Couple ethnic-fusion fashion show” from 9 different units.
During the conference, delegates competed in various literary competition, quiz, debate and extempore speech etc, volleyball, badminton etc and cultural contest, couple show, warriors’ war-cry, spear-kicking, long jump, top spinning and fire-making etc.
The speakers/ resource persons of the conference were NVCO and convener ACAUT Nagaland (legal cell), advocate K Savi president, NSF president Tongpang Ozukum, and pastor Sasta Baptist Church (Nito Mount), Viketo Kiho.
