Kuda celebrates village day

Kuda village celebrated its 74th Village Day on January 15 2015 at Kuda Youth Hall with Dr. Rokonito Nakhro, Assistant Professor of SASARD, and Assistant Pastor Kuda Village Baptist Church, as the speakers who spoke on the topic “Living a life of integrity in today’s world” while exhortation was delivered by Mrs. Luoviü Razou who spoke on “Maintaining the culture and traditions of our forefathers”.
On the day, village award was conferred to Menokhono Sakhrie, for securing 1st class in Master of Social work, Thejanino Khate for winning the 25th All Nagaland Tennis Championship, Vilasier Khate for winning the 3rd NE Cash Prize Tennis Championship, Riku Khape for winning the Nagaland Badminton Association Junior Boys double, Sedevisie Liegise for securing 1st Class in M Sc. Agri, Kethozhavi Liegise for the top rank in  Class 12, Seyievilie Nakhro for best endurance and Best Naga Cadet, NEPA Meghalaya.
Others who were awarded for their outstanding achievement in different categories were Kenizono Khate (Class 1), Eriteu Khape (Class V), Thejakhono Khate (Class B), Vikedono Savino (Class A) and Sadzevilie Nakhro (Class IV).
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by the Kuda Village Chairman, Alhoulie Belho, who also chaired the programme. Mrs Kelhousetono Nagi, deaconess KVBC, offered the invocation while vice chairman, Kuda Village Council, Kevitsozie Liegise, delivered the vote of thanks.
