Kma colony arrests extortionists

Residents of Forest Colony Kohima have apprehended four persons who were allegedly indulged in extortions, kidnapping, stealing and threatening of life on various occasions from the colony on January 6.
The accused persons were identified as Vezoto Vasa (35), son of Rudutso Vasa of Dzulha village, Kividetuo Serhie (23), son of Therhiesuo Sehrie of L Khel Kohima, Thanwalo Magh (25), son of late Kafu Magh of Tesophenyu, and Avizo Rupreo (23), son of Ketseil Rupreo of Chiechama village. The accused were lodged in Kohima jail.
A joint press release issued by the Colony chairman A Zanbemo Ngullie, and the secretary Ghokuto Sema advised the families/ relatives not to bail out the accused persons without the knowledge of the Forest Colony Union.
