Governor extends Sükrunyi greetings

On the occasion of Sükrunyi festival, Nagaland governor P.B. Acharya has extended his “warmest greetings” to the Chakhesang community. In his greetings message, Acharya appealed to the Chakhesang community to celebrate the festival in its true spirit to preserve the rich cultural heritage and upholding the tradition of peaceful co-existence in Nagaland’s pluralistic society. He prayed this festival of sanctification and cleansing oneself usher in the bond of unity, integrity and understanding among various tribes in Nagaland.
