Apropos news item “YAA celebrates golden jubilee”, the district administration Kiphire has clarified that the press release issued by the YAA regarding the holding of YAA golden jubilee launching programme at Pungro Town was “baseless and not justifiable.”
In a press release, deputy commissioner (DC) Kiphire stated the government disallowed holding of prayer meeting inside the Church on January 10, 2015 and the district administration strictly implemented the government directives.
DC neither the YAA golden jubilee launching programme nor the prayer service was held at Pungro Town January 10, 2015.
