TTASU decries YPCC public notice

Tuensang Town All Sectors’ Union (TTASU) said the public notice issued by Yimchunger Public Coordination Committee (YPCC) directing all non Chang to vacate Tuensang town within two days was ‘highly objectionable.’
A joint press release issued by TTASU executive chairman Neolo Khaimniungan and general secretary Rehopi Sangtam have expressed displeasure over the Committee for trying to create fear psychosis in the town when the Sector Union is striving to support the administration to maintain peace in Tuensang town. It said the public notice was unwelcome move worth condemned by all peace loving citizens.
The Union has urged to all the people of Tuensang irrespective of any tribe not to leave Tuensang and further urged the Yimchunger Public Coordination Committee to refrain from releasing such type of article that would create unwanted situation in the town.
