ACVA condemns threat to ACAUT

All Commercial Vehicles’ Association (ACVA) Wokha district, has condemned the ‘threat’ meted out to ACAUT by NSCN (K) on December 22.
The Association president Y Bankathung Lotha and the general secretary Renbi Ngullie said the act of lobby grenade at KT Gas Agency and in some other business establishment in Dimapur on different occasions would not solve the Naga political problem but instead worsen and alienate NSCN (K) from Naga people. Stating that such kind of act are totally against the will of the Naga common people, it said the cruelties and injustice of the NSCN (K) committed to civilians Naga population would no longer be tolerated as it goes against the basic human right.
The Association said if the NSCN (K) is working for solution of the Naga political problem they should respect and listen to the voice of the Naga people. It said ACAUT is Naga people’s movement and represent the will and voice of the Naga common people adding ACAUT is not in against of any NPGs/ factions and not refusing to pay tax for a national cause. It said Naga people are only refusing to pay tax to “multiple governments.” The Association has urged NPGs/ factions to realise the situation as the larger interest and voice of the people is supreme.
