Tsg DPDB bans sale of alcohol

Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has decided to strictly enforce ban on sale of alcohol and other intoxicant substances in the town while it also cautioned to take punitive action against the defaulters.
The decision to this effect was taken during its monthly meeting on January 6 in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of the new Deputy Commission, Tuensang, Alem Jongshi. Addressing the members, the DC has announced to create temporary examination centre for HSLC and HSSLC at Shamator. Reviewing the last DPDB meeting minutes, the board deliberated on requirement of convention hall at Tuensang town and decided to form a committee headed by DC Tuensang as chairman and UDO as member secretary with SDO Civil Sadar, EE PWD Housing and LRSO as members.
The house has also approved upgradation of Tulip Residential Academy School, Tuensang, and resolved to forward to the concerned head of department for consideration. Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Tuensang, has presented reports on departmental activities in the district.
