Preparation on to host NBCC triennial convention in Mon

Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjüm (KBBB) is in full preparation to host the 20th Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) triennial convention to be held at its Mission Centre, Mon, from February 5 to 8.
The Planning Committee under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Pongsing as convener and Chemyuh, Executive Secretary KBBB, has set up different sub-committees which are fully engaged in various activities.
The Convention Hall constructed by the local people with locally available materials designed by Er. Chiong Konyak is on progress. The hall has a capacity to accommodate four thousand people at a time.
Another milestone is seen in completion of the KBBB Guest House which was dedicated on January 8 by the Executive Secretary in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Angau I Thou, and the officials from the office of the DRDA, Mon. The Guest House is commendable as it could accommodate 100 persons with all required facilities.
All the churches under the KBBB, Konyak public organizations, the government departments headed by the district administration, and the people of Mon district have rendered full cooperation with the Planning Committee in preparatory activities for the Convention.
Meanwhile, KBBB has appealed all concerned to continue working and praying for the success of the programme in favorable atmosphere. The Planning Committee also expected the NBCC officials and its constituent members (Church associations under the NBCC), as well as the invitees from abroad to support in prayer and participate in the forthcoming convention positively.
