Taking serious note of the ongoing crisis within the NPF, the DAN-III Coordination Committee urged upon the legislators to immediately resolve their internal crisis, in view of the serious ramifications it would have on the developmental priorities of the state.
Stating this K.G.Kenye, secretary of the DAN Coordination Committee said the meeting held at the residence of DAN chairman Dr. Shürhozelie on January 8 also noted that continuance and intensification of the crisis will not only have a deleterious consequence on the NPF but would also spell doom on the full term of the current assembly by inviting President’s Rule. The DAN committee therefore demanded an immediate end to the “factional battle within the NPF”. Those who attended the meeting included– Dr. Shurhozelie, K.G. Kenye, Dr. M. Chuba Ao state BJP president, K. James Vizo, gen. secretary & spokesman BJP unit; Mhonjan Lotha, state JD (U) president; K. Yimso, member JD(U) and Er. T.L. Semdok acting NCP president.
