Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) Pughoboto division has also endorsed the suspension of seven NPF legislators and reaffirmed their support to NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu. In a press release, president Pughoboto division Kughakhu Sheqi and general secretary Hotoshe Sheqi said that they have “endorsed the party’s decision of suspending the seven NPF legislators for their anti-party activities”.
Sheqi said that the resolution was made during an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of Kughakhu at the residence of NPF secretary, Nagaland Toniho Sheqi at New Ministers’ Hill Kohima. The executives and members present in the meeting reaffirmed the division’s “solidarity and support to NPF party under the dynamic leadership of president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, general secretary K.G. Kenye and NPF-led DAN III government under the leadership of chief minister T.R Zeliang and parliamentary secretary irrigation and flood control and election Y. Vikheho Swu”, they state.
