Directorate of geology and mining (DG&M) has informed all district in-charges, sector in-charge, gate in-charges to control and monitor the coal transportation with challan at the designated gate or mobile check gate only. DG&M stated that no coal Challan book or leaf would be directly issued to any individual coal operator, coal transporter and coal mining lease holders. Meanwhile, district in-charges have directed to strengthen all designated gates and set up mobile check gate wherever necessary and deploy officers and staff to maintain check gates with immediate effect. All district in-charges, sector in-charges, gate in-charges have been directed to strictly enforce the order, failing which DG&M cautioned to impose disciplinary action.
