ZCYO commemorates foundation day

Zuvotong Colony Youth Organisation (ZCYO) commemorated its first foundation day at the residence of Zuvotong Colony Union (ZCU) chairman, Riphyim village on January 6
At the programme, ZCYO felicitated two officers — Chumben Ngullie, who got assistant commandant CISF through UPSC and Tsenthungo Ngullie, EAC 5th Rank 2014. Both are bona fide members of ZCYO.
Speaking on the occasion, Chumben Ngullie urged the youths to set both short and long term goals in life in order to become a “successful person”.
He warned the youths to distance themselves from the negative impact of technology referring it as “virtual madness”, which, he said has minimized the interaction resulting in the communication gap within family and friends.
Ngullie encouraged the students to remain focused in their studies, at the same to be active in social activities like students union, youth organisation and youth fellowship.
Earlier at the programme, deacon Lumbemo Ngullie offered dedicatory prayer and ZCU chairman Robin Humtsoe delivered greetings. The programme was chaired by ZCYO president.
ZCYO annual report was presented by ZCYO general secretary and finance Thungchibemo Humtsoe. Invocation and benediction was pronounced by deaconess Nzubeni Patton and ZCYO treasurer Renathung Humtsoe.
