A new government primary school at Doyang Right Bank under educational block resource centre, Sanis was inaugurated December 12 with deputy commissioner (DC) Wokha A. Robin Lotha as chief guest.
Exhorting the gathering at the inaugural function, DC Wokha Robin Lotha urged upon the community members to have the sense of ownership not only for the area people but as a whole.
Lotha also appealed to the area people for more enrolment of students and produce good result and responsible citizens.
He lauded the SSA cell in the district and the village education committee for the successful implementation of the school building construction.
During the programme, short speech was also delivered by N. Marius Lotha, DEO Wokha, P. Zubenthung Humtsoe, ADC (SSA) Wokha and Bichamo Yanthan, Chairman VEC Doyang right bank.
