BJP Nagaland state unit has extended support to the G. Kaito Aye who has been elected as the leader of the DAN Legislature Party with immediate effect.
This was decided during a joint meeting of Nagaland state BJP and of the BJP legislature party of Nagaland state assembly held on Tuesday in Dimapur. The meeting has welcomed the resolution of the "majority members of NPF to elect" Kaito as their new leader. In a resolution adopted during the meeting, BJP legislature party members agree to execute such further documents as may be necessary for supporting Kaito for the formation of the new council of ministers headed by him as the chief minister. The meeting also resolved to hand over a copy of the resolution signed by BJP MLAs present during the meeting along with the signature of the party president and his colleagues.
