Ungma Longjakrep Semchir (ULS) has vehemently condemned the ultimatum served by CPI (Maoist) to governor of Odisha, Dr S.C.Jamir and asking him to quit as governor. Longjakrep Semchir tatars I. Imtidongba Jamir and T. Onentiba Jamir stated that at a time when the international community irrespective of caste, creed, race and colour recognised India as a brand name in areas of peace, trade and development such threat served to a constitutional head merely shows the silly character of an opportunist individual who was trying to take the entire Indian nation for a ride. Longjakrep Semchir Ungma also requested the competent authority to ensure the safety of “our” member and also appeal the Maoist to withdraw the threat served.
