CM-MOT conducts 5th Phase in Longleng

The Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT) continues its mission to provide advanced surgical care to remote areas of Nagaland.
During its 5th phase, the CM-MOT team, led by Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, MLA and laparoscopic surgeon, visited Tamlu sub-division in Longleng district on May 24. The team, comprising doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists, dental professionals, and nurses, performed 30 surgeries, 350 OPD consultations, 40 ultrasounds, and 50 dental check-ups at the free medical camp.
Despite these efforts, the medical team highlighted ongoing challenges in rural healthcare, noting that many areas lack proper operation theatre facilities and depend on single-doctor Community Health Centres (CHCs) for essential medical services.
The team expressed gratitude to Deputy Commissioner B. Henok Buchem (NCS) for facilitating accommodations.
Launched on January 26 by Nagaland Governor La Ganesan, CM-MOT aims to deliver modern surgical and medical care to underprivileged communities. The first camp was held in Meluri district.
