State Election Commission has deputed 35 senior officers of the Government of Nagaland to be deployed as observers during the ensuing general election to municipal and town council in the state.
According to DIPR report, the following senior officers have been appointed against the respective municipal council and town council as ‘election observer’ in the ensuing municipal and town council election in Nagaland.

Meanwhile, an orientation program for the Observers, including the Reserve Observers has been convened on January 24, 11 .am. at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Commissioner, Nagaland. It has been informed that there would be no provision for exemption from election duty unless in extraordinary circumstances on the condition that a replacement observer is also proposed.
