While performing EEM duty on February 18, excise narcotic cell duty personnel recovered a total of 18,040 capsules of Spasmo-Proxyvon (SP) and Nitrosun (Nitrazepam) from two individuals, Raju Pradhan (29) of Lahorijan Assam and Abhijeet Das (40) of Hojai Assam.
According to deputy commissioner of excise (NC) Nagaland, Kevisetuo Angami, excise (NC) duty party signalled a suspicious vehicle (AS01BG3780) at Marwari Patti Dimapur for frisking. The duty personnel nabbed the vehicle and occupants at City Tower junction, Dimapur.
Meanwhile in this connection, a case was registered under NDPS Act 1985 and is under further investigation.
