Excise Narcotic Cell (NC) duty personnel performing EEM duty recovered a total of 1,008 bottles of IMFL from a location near Dimapur Government College on February 19 and arrested one accused. According to commissioner of excise & prohibition Nagaland, Tarep Imchen, the individual was identified as Suman Nath (23) son of O. Nath. In this connection, a case was registered under NLTP Act 1989. It further informed that the department would continue to check and maintain strict surveillance to curb the illegal flow of liquor in the state.
