YBBA organises ‘common platform’

First ever “common platform” programme at Pungro town was organised by Yimchungrü  Baptist Borü Amukhongto (YBBA) on February 21 at public ground Pungro town. Speaking on the occasion, intending NPF candidate 60 Pungro- Kiphire A/C, T. Torechu urged upon the people to elect visionary and dedicated leaders who can bring more developmental activities to the constituency. He urged upon the people to propagate and practice clean election and shun muscle power and violence during election in the true spirit of Christian principle and brotherhood.
Torechu extended gratitude to YBBA and various organisations for their effort in organising the programme for the first time in Pungro area which was the landmark  and one of the most momentous in the history of Yimchungrü society and  further hoped that such kind of programme would continue in the near future.
BJP intending candidate, T. Yankiu Yimchunger appealed the public to elect the right leader who could bring real development in the constituency and urged upon the people to create a congenial peaceful atmosphere to ensure smooth conduct of the election.
Lithriyem, intending NCP candidate, called upon the peoples to unite and work together for the betterment of the society and further appealed the public to elect the capable and right leader who could bring the developmental aspect in the constituency and urged the people to conduct the election in “peace and harmony” for the common lucrative of the society and people at large. 
Meanwhile, the intending candidates from various political parties comprising of NPF, BJP and NCP of 60 Pungro- Kiphire A/C, during the clean election campaign programme assured the people of more developmental activities in the areas. Earlier, clean election campaign programme was presided over by Tsuyihba CAMP, YBBA while invocation was pronounced by pastor  PVBB, Rikhum. The significance on clean election was highlighted by pastor PTBC Yimto, while special number was presented by Tsuyamew choir master PVBB.  
Other who spoke at the programme were Musumong head GB, Pungro town, president  PFPSD , S. Kiusumew Yimchungrü,  president PACSU, Rasuka and secretary YTC Makezho. The programme was concluded with mass prayer.
