DC & DEO Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, has informed that facilitation centres manned by the DLMTs for doubt clearing on EVM/VVPAT and poll process would be set up on February 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 3p.m. at the office complex of the DC & DEO Kohima. According to DIPR report, DC & DEO Kohima has informed that the centres would be set up as follows: Centre 1 – Conference Hall DRDA; Centre 2 – Ground Floor Treasury North, Kohima; Centre 3 – Ground Floor, Pensioner Office Building and Centre 4 – First Floor Pensioner Office Building. DC & DEO Kohima has also infirmed that on February 26, twp facilitation centres would be opened on the ground floor of the DC’s Office, Kohima. All the polling officials of Kohima district deployed for election duty has been informed to avail the service of the facilitation centre for last minute doubts on EVM/VVPAT and poll process.
Mon: DC& DEO, Mon, K. Thavaseelan, IAS, has informed the poll timings of polling stations (P-2 categories) under Mon district has been changed as per the directives received from the Election Commission of India on February 21. According to DIPR report, DC & DEO Mon has informed the new polling timing shall be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has asked all candidates and electors to take note of the change in timing. It has been informed that the modified poll timings shall be applicable only for the following polling stations: 48 MOKA – 11-Changnyu Village, 12-Yei Village, 13-Yonghong Village, 14-Yonghong Village, 15-Kanchangshu Village, 16-Yakshu Village, 17-Yakshu Village, 18-Mopong Town, 19-Ukha Village A, 20-Ukha Village and 22-Yaphang Village; 55 TOBU – 1-Changlangshu Village A, 2-Changlangshu Village A, 3-Changlangshu Village B, 4-Changlangshu Village B, 5-Monyakshu A Village, 6-Monyakshu B, 7-Monyakshu C, 8-Pessao A, 9-Pessao B, 10-Yongkhao Village, 11-Yongkhao Village, 12-Shinyu Village, 13-Tamkong Village, 14-Tamkong Village, 15-Shamnyu Village, 16-Shamnyu Village, 17-Tobu Hq, 18-Tobu Hq, 19-Tobu Village, 20-Tobu Village and 21-Monyakshu Town.
