Naga girl receives Army chief medallion

Associate NCC officer lieutenant, Yashirenla Imsong of 1 Nagaland Girls Bn NCC Kohima, hailing from Merangkong village under Mokokchung district, who accompanied the North Eastern Region Republic Day Camp-2018 contingent to New Delhi was awarded the Chief of Army Staff medallion for her outstanding professional work.
Lieut. Yashirenla Imsong handled large quantum of work over a wide spectrum including NCC training and administrative set up pre-Republic Day camp held at Guwahati and subsequently at Republic Day camp held at Delhi.
She had all throughout worked with extraordinary zeal, dedication, hard work and showed remarkable maturity in handling various tasks. Her employee foresightedness ever willing demeanour to work and participation in all activities had become her hallmark.
Yashirenla Imsong displayed great leadership qualities which made her a role model for others to evaluate which cumulatively result in North Eastern Region (comprising all seven states).
