One Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel died on the spot and two injured when a bolero pick carrying SSB personnel rolled down some 80 feet below the road near Kuthur village under Tuensang district.
The SSB personnel, deployed for election duty, were on their way back from 57 Thonoknyu constituency. The deceased was identified as one Atul Kr. Singh.
It was also reported that three weapons belonging to SSB were yet to be retrieved from the spot.
